The rug (or wall hanging) ‘Silhouette’ was designed by HRH Princess Margarita for the Marc Janssen Collection. The effect of light is central in its design. The combination of 100% New Zealand wool and silk makes the pattern of the abstracted branches of a beech tree very visible, since silk lights up, while wool absorbs. This contrast gives the effect of a tone-on-tone color palette, while only one color has been used: ochre.

With this Marc Janssen collaboration, De Parme Design joins an illustrious line of Dutch designers, such as Mae Engelgeer, Claire and Roderick Vos, Kiki van Eijk, Piet Hein Eek and Joost van Bleiswijk.

After your order, the jewel will be shipped within three working days. We ship our jewelry worldwide, within the Benelux this is free. Shipping costs will be charged for shipments outside the Netherlands. All shipments are fully insured and can be tracked via track & trace. You will receive an email when the order is shipped. Returns

The purchase may be returned within 14 days. In case of return, the purchase must be undamaged, unused and in a re-saleable condition and must be delivered to De Parme Design. If the purchase is received by the buyer in damaged condition, the buyer must report this to De Parme Design within 24 hours. Every purchase has a 12 month warranty.

We accept Ideal, Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, American Express and PayPal. In consultation you can also transfer the amount to the bank account of De Parme Design B.V. NL22 INGB 0006598049. Please contact us in advance via [email protected]. When you select Paypal at checkout, you will be taken to the PayPal site to log in and view the amount displayed before clicking ‘Pay Now’. Once this transaction is completed, you will return to De Parme Design. If you choose Ideal at checkout, then select the bank with which you want to make the Ideal payment. Then you need to scan the displayed QR code on your desktop or open your banking app on mobile to confirm the payment. All payments include 21% VAT.
